Spearpoint Logistics is Hiring a HR Administrative Assistant Near Justin, TX

Job Description

We are looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to undertake a variety of HR and administrative type duties. The duties involve a wide range of support activities, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads and general administrative support. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions including onboarding of new employees. You'll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents. The skills we're looking for include excellent organization ability, familiarity with HR software (ADP) and strong communication skills. You should be able to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure. We are looking for a great team player with a “can do” approach.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day to day HR operations, functions, and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to executives.
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.).
  • Deal with employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, regulations, and insurance questions.
  • Assist in expense account preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
  • Communicate with public services and others when necessary.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
  • Supply ordering

Requirements

  • Strong communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws.
  • Familiarity with ADP software and resume databases.
  • Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant HR/Administrative position.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
